Capt David sir- You fought the final battle with no ammo in your guns and no wingman to tell you where the enemy was. Radar did not pick him up till it was too late. We watched from the sidelines your magnificient weaves and ducks, pull ups and dives; an extraordinary display of courage and tenacity till, during the pit stops, the doctors said " Capt David , we have nothing left in our arsenal to equip ypu to keep fighting anymore".On this day when you have broken free from the grips of this sullen earth, we wish you a safe flight to the other side. The IAF rated you as a "O", a rare assessment for an outstanding pilot with exemplary flying skills. Your friends and family rated you similarly, for being that rare man who walked the talk and stood up for his troops.
